KPSPTO Gift Card Program is fundraising while you shop

Our Gift Card program is back and bigger than ever... with more gift cards from national and local retailers. They're the same gift cards that you buy at the store. Many popular retailers participate in our scrip program including Shop Rite, The Gap, Shell, Home Depot, Applebee's, A&P and many, many others.

How do these stores help us raise money? It's simple -- Participating retailers agree to sell gift cards to our organization at a discount. Member families like yours buy the certificates for full face value, they redeem them for full face value, and our school keeps the difference as revenue. And this is exciting, because everybody wins:
· The retailer gets cash up front and repeat business
· You get a powerful fundraising alternative that involves no selling
· Your KPSPTO gets a regular source of revenue

The beauty of this program is that you put your regular household shopping dollars to work. You earn money for our school without spending a single additional penny. Purchase gift cards from your KPSPTO, and use them as you like! Household purchases, food, clothing, entertainment, gasoline and even dining out.

The best part? The percentage your KPSPTO retains from each card is considered a donation... and it's tax deductable in many cases, (consult your tax professional for rules and regs). Many retailers offer different percentages, so check the Great Lakes Scrip Center website for your favorite retailer's percentages.
