Did you ever have the chance to have your favorite teacher come home with you to read your favorite books? Well, KPS students can whenever they go to the library! The KPS Books on CD project brings your child's favorite stories to life, read by their favorite KPS staffers!

Our principal, Ms. Pinkerton came up with the idea last year, and your KPSPTO jumped right in to sponsor and produce this wonderful project. We posted a list, and teachers and staff members signed up right away. Each was recorded, reading a classroom favorite, and each reading was produced, packaged and made ready for the KPS library.
During the October Spirit Day, assemblies were held to help make students aware of the CDs, but these were no ordinary announcements! Instead, we held a game show event where students heard snippets of selected tracks, and then had to guess who was reading it! Everyone got to vote on who they thought it was! Not so simple, but fun!
